2007-11-192011-05-192007-11-192011-05-192003-05http://hdl.handle.net/1969.1/6118The purpose of this research was to determine the fate of amoxicillin in the City of Lubbock’s Water Reclamation Plant and to determine the antibiotic resistance patterns in the plant. Amoxicillin was detected in the influent of the plant during one month of the study, but amoxicillin was not detected at any other plant flow streams. The antibiotic resistance patterns of the LWRP varied monthly; heterotrophic bacteria were resistant to most of the antibiotics investigated during the nine month study.en-USTechnical Report
